Yes it is finally confirmed Fall 2011
The popular series Shakugan no Shana will be given 3rd season, a testament to its popularity with slated airing on October 2009. However with lackluster Season 2, I do wonder if they going to continue the series in similar tired manner or infuse with more dynamism and tight storytelling that is hallmark of Season 1? Latest edition of Dengeki Bunko featured this with proud announcement of the airing time. JC Staff will behind this work again.
Remains to be seen if it is worth to watch another season of Shana and the gang.
Will it be finally a time when we can see Yuuji going into a GAR mode? :3

Problem is Pheles involvement in the story is pretty much over in Season 3. But, we got to see Yuji becoming more powerful.

ReplyDeleteIn the last episode of season 2, I just saw that Shana is happy someone came. But it makes me so angry they didn't show the person face........( Judging by Shana face, I can say it was Yuji..... but the suspence is killing)......

To actually be honest I think your in for a big suprise if you dont read the light novels. If you have read the light novels, I wonder how the anime is going to take it.

ReplyDeleteIt will probs air starting 2011. As the only reason there wasting a full year on 4 Episodes is to proboly ride out Recession. Shakugan no shana does not do well in sales cause of the ammount of time there wasting on side story spoofs. For that reason, there going to rush the last seris and have there way with it.

Need season 3...must see more Shana and Yuji and id also like to see Yoshida finally sacrifice herself to summon Pheles because that's gotta happen at some point to save Yuji from some threat or another...I'm cruel I wanted so badly to see her turn to Yuji just for him to pick Shana >:)

ReplyDeleteWell, there has to be a Season 3. In the end of Season 2, they didn't really defeat the main bad guys, so they still have to fight. I hope to see more rivalry between Shana and Yoshida and hopefully see more of Yuji fighting. And has anyone wondered what happened to the tuner boy from Season 1?

I heard season 3 story line is about Shana losing her memory and disappearing for 10 years. Then Yuji finds her at a fight club and asks if she remembers him. she says she has never seen him in her life ( which is a huge shock to him). Then Yuji explains he is a mystes and then Shana begins to get interested. Shana asks Yuji to help her find who she really is... and then the story takes off from there
