My personal view on anime, as it is become a visible media niche in the world. Just like any other media, it has its share of pukes and good ones....this is my view on it. Whimsical? Informative? Overly serious? Too silly? Why the hell am I still watching anime? Thoughts like this runs through my mind here.

Manga master's exhibition opens at NGV

Works by the Japanese artist who created cartoon favourites Astro Boy and Kimba The White Lion have gone on show in Melbourne.
It's the first time the works have been exhibited outside of Japan.

Now I want to go to Melbourne to see his works. This man is famous for bringing universal popularity of anime to the world with Astro Boy and Kimba the White Lion. He is like Jack Kirby of US comics, a founding father who set the milestone for thousands to follow in its all glory.
